OneChoice offers convenient access to premium insurance products, committed to making the insurance process simple, transparent, and easily accessible. As a newly established brand, OneChoice needed a comprehensive website that streamlined the insurance quote application and purchasing process. 
The challenge

The team conducted extensive research and analysis to identify key market trends and consumer preferences within the insurance industry.

Using this information and collaborating with the marketing team at OneChoice, we developed a brand strategy to effectively communicate OneChoice’s value proposition to its target audience. The website's color scheme was carefully chosen to convey to New Zealanders that OneChoice is "The Insurance for Kiwis".


Building a user-centric digital experience
In the next phase of the project, we concentrated on creating a solid information architecture and designing website templates that optimized user journeys and simplified the experience. Leading the team in user-journey mapping and prototyping, I developed a versatile set of templates that adjusted to diverse content needs, ensuring a responsive and intuitive interfaces. Website accessibility was a top priority throughout the project. I took the initiative to deepen my understanding of WCAG  standards, ensuring that the website met essential accessibility requirements for a wider range of users.

Interactive tools to simplify insurance planning
Long- and short-form content pages were redesigned to enhance user engagement and improve SEO. To assist users in making informed insurance decisions, we developed interactive product tools, including a Life Calculator that assessed an individual's current situation and provided an estimate of their future life insurance needs. Additionally, a Funeral Calculator was introduced to help users estimate costs and plan accordingly.
Collaborative design integration
To achieve a smooth design implementation, the team worked closely with OneChoice's in-house developers. This collaboration led to the successful launch of the new design, along with a comprehensive interface kit featuring custom icons to enhance the content.

The final website is both visually engaging and user-centric, effectively conveying the value proposition of OneChoice Insurance and its products to the target audience.
